This isn't the finish line.
Twelve weeks ago, you started with a table. Now it's time to recognize what God has begun and step into what comes next.
Leader Prep
Make tonight feel significant.
Do not treat Week Twelve like another normal lesson.
Students have spent three months building rhythms of Scripture, prayer, belonging, service, witness, holiness, and spiritual discernment.
Tonight should help them recognize: God has begun something in me, and I have a responsibility to continue.
If possible, invite the senior pastor, parents, and other trusted adults to participate in the commissioning portion.
Before the gathering, write one specific sentence about spiritual growth you have seen in each student. Tonight, speak it over them.
The Big Idea
Discipleship doesn't end when the lessons do. It becomes the way you live.
Jesus does not call us to complete a curriculum. He calls us to follow Him- continually learning, obeying, serving, witnessing, growing, and helping others follow Him too.
Scripture
Go and make disciples.
MATTHEW 28:18-20Jesus' final command is not simply, "Go to church."
He sends His followers to "make disciples of all the nations."
Disciples are people who learn from Jesus, obey Jesus, become like Jesus, and help other people follow Jesus.
Then Jesus gives them a promise: "I am with you always."
The mission is bigger than us, but we never carry it alone.

Remember. Respond. Commission.
Give students time to look back, name what God has done, and make a concrete commitment for the next season.
Table
Celebrate. Eat together. Ask students for their favorite moment, hardest conversation, and biggest thing they learned.

Reflect
Review the twelve weeks. Let students identify where they have grown and what still needs attention.
Commission
Invite the pastor and trusted adults to pray over students personally and send them into their next season.

Four truths to leave with them.
Keep this shorter than previous weeks. Tonight's weight should come through reflection, prayer, and commissioning.
Following Jesus is lifelong.
You never graduate from prayer, Scripture, obedience, worship, holiness, service, or dependence on the Holy Spirit. Roots have to keep growing.
What God gives you is meant to move outward.
You have not learned these things only to become a stronger Christian personally. Jesus sends disciples to serve, witness, love, and make other disciples.
Your church needs you.
You do not need to wait until adulthood to become meaningful to the Body of Christ. Pray, serve, give, encourage, witness, learn, and take responsibility now.
Jesus goes with you.
The Great Commission ends with promise. Jesus sends His followers, but He also promises His presence. The next step is not yours to take alone.
Look Back
Twelve weeks. What has changed?
Known.
Who knows your story and is intentionally helping you follow Jesus?
Belong.
Do you see yourself as part of the Church now?
Know God.
Are you building a personal relationship with Jesus?
Pray.
Are you becoming more comfortable talking honestly with God?
Scripture.
Can you open the Bible and know how to engage it for yourself?
Spirit.
Are you learning to depend on the Holy Spirit's presence and power?
Identity.
Are you learning to build your identity around Christ and His truth?
Conviction.
Are your decisions increasingly being shaped by Scripture?
Serve.
Where are you using what God has given you?
Witness.
Can you explain what Jesus has done in your life?
Calling.
What might God be developing or asking you to explore?
Go.
What will obedience look like next?
The Commission
Speak over them before you send them.
Invite students to stand. If appropriate in your setting, invite parents, the pastor, and trusted adults to gather around them.
One by one, speak the sentence you prepared about what you have seen God developing.
Say things like:
"I have watched God develop compassion in you."
"I have seen you become more willing to pray."
"I see leadership beginning to emerge."
"I have watched you ask deeper questions."
"I see a real burden for people who don't know Jesus."
Be specific. Do not exaggerate. Name evidence of growth and call them toward continued faithfulness.
Student Commitment
Six things to carry forward.
I will keep building a personal relationship with Jesus.
I will stay rooted in Scripture and prayer.
I will pursue holiness and allow the Holy Spirit to keep changing me.
I will serve faithfully with what God has given me.
I will look for opportunities to point people toward Jesus.
I will remain open to wherever and however God calls me to serve.
Commissioning Prayer
"My yes is still yes."
Give students quiet space before anyone prays over them.
Invite them to pray:
"Jesus, thank You for what You have begun in me. Keep changing me. Keep teaching me. Help me stay close to You. Use my gifts. Strengthen my convictions. Give me courage to serve and witness. My life belongs to You. Wherever You lead, help my answer remain yes."
Pray over the next generation.
Pray specifically for:
• deeper hunger for Scripture
• a growing prayer life
• holiness and spiritual integrity
• the filling and leadership of the Holy Spirit
• courage to witness
• spiritual gifts to develop
• protection from temptation
• discernment of calling
• faithfulness to the local church
• courage to follow Jesus wherever He leads

The next 90 days need a plan too.

Your job isn't finished either.
Parent Table Talk
Tell them what you've seen.
End the first 90 days with more than "We're proud of you." Name the spiritual growth you have noticed.
What do you think God has taught you during these twelve weeks?
Name one specific area of spiritual growth you have seen.
Ask what spiritual rhythm they want your help protecting during the next three months.
Pray over their future, gifts, friendships, convictions, calling, and relationship with Jesus.
90 Days Complete
You didn't build a youth program. You started a discipleship culture.
Students have been known. Scripture has been opened. Prayer has become more normal. Gifts are being discovered. Students are serving. Testimonies are being formed. Calling is being noticed.
Now keep going.
