THE FEW · EARLY ACCESS

You're seeing this before everyone else.

THE FEW is being built to help small churches intentionally disciple the students God has already entrusted to them. Before we release it widely, we want a few trusted leaders to help us discover what works-and what still needs work.

Early Access Cohort ROOTED Pilot Real Church Feedback

Why You're Here

We are not asking you to tell us whether THE FEW looks good. We are asking you to help us discover whether it works.

Your Role

Use it like a real leader would.

THE FEW is not being designed for curriculum experts, professional youth pastors, or churches with unlimited resources.

It is being designed for ordinary churches with students who deserve intentional discipleship.

So we need you to use it honestly.

Don't protect the resource. Don't assume something makes sense because you know us. Don't quietly fix problems without telling us.

If something is confusing, tell us. If something takes too long, tell us. If students disconnect, tell us. If something works exceptionally well, tell us that too.

The churches who eventually use THE FEW may never have direct access to its creators. The system has to be able to explain itself.

Start Here

Three places to begin.

STEP 01

Understand the system.

Start with the First 90 Days guide. This explains what ROOTED is trying to accomplish, how the weekly rhythm works, and what success should look like.

View The First 90 Days →
STEP 02

Open ROOTED.

Review the twelve-week pathway. Don't try to read every lesson at once. Understand the progression, then begin with the week you are testing.

STEP 03

Lead it for real.

Gather your students. Use the lesson. Notice what happens. Then tell us what another church needs to know before doing the same thing.

What We Need From You

Feedback we can actually use.

Tell us where you hesitated.

If you had to stop and figure out what the lesson wanted you to do, we need to know.

Tell us what students responded to.

Which question opened conversation? What made them lean in? Where did something spiritually significant happen?

Tell us what fell flat.

Not every discussion question, activity, or explanation will work. We want the honest version.

Tell us what you had to invent.

If you had to create a handout, explanation, follow-up, parent communication, or resource we didn't provide, that may be a missing part of THE FEW.

Tell us what took too much preparation.

THE FEW has to remain usable for volunteer leaders with jobs, families, and limited ministry time.

Tell us where theology needs more clarity.

Especially around the Holy Spirit, holiness, gifts, calling, salvation, or other doctrinal subjects, flag anything that could be misunderstood.

What Are You Testing?

Not just the lesson. Test the whole experience.

CLARITY

Did you know what to do?

Could you open the page, prepare efficiently, and understand how to lead the gathering without someone explaining it to you?

ENGAGEMENT

Did students participate?

Did the format create conversation? Were students willing to answer honestly? Were there parts where attention disappeared?

FORMATION

Did anything change?

Did students pray, open Scripture, ask deeper questions, serve, witness, or take a real next step?

REPEATABILITY

Would you do it again?

Could another volunteer in your church lead this next week? Would you willingly keep using it?

One Important Rule

If you have to contact us to understand something, tell us what confused you first.

We absolutely want to help. But the moment you need help may expose something the resource itself needs to explain better.

The Pilot Rhythm

Keep it simple.

01 · PREP

Use the lesson.

Prepare as you normally would. Don't spend extra hours trying to make the pilot succeed.

02 · LEAD

Gather students.

Lead the lesson in a normal church ministry environment. Let reality test the resource.

03 · NOTICE

Pay attention.

Notice student engagement, leader confusion, spiritual conversations, timing, and missing pieces.

04 · RESPOND

Send the pulse.

Give us a short report while the gathering is still fresh instead of trying to remember it weeks later.

Weekly Feedback

Five questions. That's it.

After you lead a lesson, complete the short weekly feedback form. It should only take a few minutes.

01 · Which lesson did you lead?
02 · How prepared did you feel? 1-5
03 · How well did students engage? 1-5
04 · What was unclear, difficult, or missing?
05 · What should we change before another church uses this?

As You Pilot

DON'T PERFORM

We don't need a perfect pilot.

Don't make your gathering unusually elaborate because you know you are testing something. We need to see how THE FEW performs in ordinary ministry conditions.

DON'T FIX IT QUIETLY

Tell us what you changed.

Adaptation is normal. But if you rewrite something, add a resource, skip an activity, or change the flow, tell us why.

DO WATCH PEOPLE

The students matter most.

The ultimate question is not whether you enjoyed leading the curriculum. It is whether students are being intentionally discipled.

Early Access

Help us build something another small church can actually use.

Your feedback will directly shape what we clarify, what we simplify, what we add, what we remove, and what THE FEW becomes before wider release.
